After years in
competition two local singer/songwriters
Noel McMaster (Bakerloo Junction) and Alex
Quinn (formerly Barnbrack) took to the
Belfast stage last Friday evening (2nd
May) as they performed together at the
Ivanhoe Hotel. After treating the audience
to a great night of entertainment and craic
they rounded off the evening as Noel sang
�My Lagan Softly Flowing�, which he wrote in
1978; and Alex followed with �Belfast�,
which he wrote in 1984.
