A
LISBURN genealogist forced to give up full time work on medical
grounds still wants to help local people trace their ancestors.
Shaun Cheyne of Adlon Gardens has retained a
great deal of the reference material he used in the course of
his work.
He is keen to continue to use it, albeit as a
hobby rather than a profession, and hopes anyone with an
interest 'in their roots' will get in touch.
Shaun explained his health problems prevent
him from driving.
"This means I prefer to deal with queries
related to the Lisburn area," he added.
"But I hope people will continue to get in touch
with me. I really do enjoy this type of research."
Shaun has had a number of notable successes
in the past so if you would like to find out more about previous
generations of your family feel free to get in touch with him.
He can be contacted on 9267 5144.
