Main Street, Moira. WELL-KNOWN sights in
Lisburn, Moira, Dromara and Dromore have been captured by artist
Gillian Lutton and now grace the pages of a new book 'My Lagan
Love', which includes stories by Ian Hill. My Lagan Love takes
the reader on a leisurely journey along the river from its
source at Slieve Croob, past the neat farms around Dromara,
Dromore and Donaghcloney, Moira and on through the commercial
cities of Lisburn and Belfast before entering the sea at Belfast
Lough.
Ian Hill, who can trace his ancestors back to
the 16th century banks of the Lagan, shares with the reader his
vast store of knowledge on all aspects of the Lagan while
Gillian's wonderful paintings provide a visual feast which does
this beautiful part of Northern Ireland proud. Bishops Bridge
Dromore, Dromara Bridge, Island Arts Centre, Berwick Hall Moira,
Main Street Moira, Kilwarlin Moravian Church, St Malachy's
Church Hillsborough, Down
Royal Racecourse, Lisburn Railway Station,
