 ONE
of the finalists from the recent Citybeat Star Search is hoping
the people of Lisburn can help him to fulfil his musical
ambitions.
14-year-old Felan Davidson is well known to
many local people due to his work for the BFBS Radio station in
Lisburn.
Felan made it through to the final of the
competition at last weekend 's semi finals in Victoria Square,
Belfast with his performance of Chico's 'Chico Time'.
Felan explained: "I wanted to do the Citybeat
Young Star Search to prove that I could do such a big
competition.
"Getting through to the Young Star Search is
such an achievement, even to get into the final is such a
shock."
Felan is now amongst 13 finalists who are
being put to the public vote. If you would like to vote for

lines close today (Friday) at 2pm and calls cost 50p.
The final will be held in Castle Court
tomorrow (Saturday) from 1.30-2.30pm.
The winner will have the chance to make a CD
and will perform at the Christmas Lights switch on on Belfast.
